Username and password for your database can be found at Haphost Panel > Web Hosting > MySQL. If you have more than 1 database, click on any desired database. To reset its user's password, click on 207486158e1de7f6171f0f4fb28140a66d47ab01 inside the database you've selected..

Thank you for your response, but Bonar was correct. The id and password for phpmyadmin are the ones established when database is created and I located it at the MySQL page as he described. Possibly I should have figured that out, but that info isn't presented until one clicks the link.

regards,

david

I'm glad to help :)

When you installed database locally, you may use root user and left the password blank (it can happened when you installed MySQL on a Windows-based OS with xampp application bundle). Unfortunately, in any shared-hosting environment, they will never let you access database with root user. Correct me if I am wrong :)
