Learn how to start, stop or restart a VPS using the Haphost Panel.

A VPS may be started, restarted and shut down just as an ordinary computer. The Haphost page that provides access to these functions is available on the Start/Stop/Restart VPS link on the Haphost menu.

Step 1

You will first have to Log in to the Haphost Panel.

Step 2

Click on VPS Hosting.

Possible VPS states:

- Running

- Node Maintenance

- Suspended

- Stopped

If you wish to stop your Linux VPS, bear in mind that there is a two-minute timeout for the VPS shutdown scripts to be executed. If the VPS is not stopped in two minutes, the system forcibly kills all the processes in the VPS. The VPS will be killed in any case, even if it is seriously damaged.
