Question about VPS

why have the VPS web server installed?

 

it always comes back before I forgot my mysql can not put, it should be reserved for the user to decide whether he wants to use apache2.

 

is still changed?

This is simply put because the OpenVZ templates were built so. They are outdated and too big. I wish HapHost would update them to the latest minimal versions.

 

If you don't want to use Apache then uninstall it and install something else.

 You should create a VM on your computer and learn more about Linux and especially the Linux distributions you are using.

 

If you for example use CentOS it is enough to run "yum remove httpd httpd-tools" to uninstall Apache and then you can install another server. For Debian/Ubuntu it would be "apt-get --purge remove apache2".

 

You may sometimes need extra reposities like the official Nginx repo for CentOS if you want the latest Nginx version for your CentOS server and a repo for a new PHP version (Atomic Corp, Femi, etc...) and for Debian you can get dotdeb repo.
