Hi Guys, another simple tutorial here !

today i was thinking that Haphost give out free web hosting, but why when you can get a VPS and do-it-yourself ! and gaining some experience along the way !

So i thought i would write a script for the community to use and get Webservers up and running !:

Here goes !

// As Always in my Tutorials Downloads are included at the botton //

So First off we Login to our VPS (more here)

After we have logged in and adressed any issues we will need to Download the files in the tutorial (of follow along and type it out !)

The simple way to install lamp is to use a neat program by Linux called "tasksel"

So to run this, type the following into your PuTTY or Terminal :

$ sudo apt-get install tasksel

and then run it, you will be asked to confirm this just click [y]

next we will install the LAMP-server

LAMP stands for:

L- Linux
A- Apache

So we will use tasksel ! to do this type the following !

$ sudo tasksel install lamp-server

and thats it ! just confirm all of it and your good to go !

One thing to point out that your root directory runs in a different space so everything will become visible on your IP: you must put files in here /var/www/

As always need help ? comment or PM Me !!!
